Sunday, May 3, Yoga Openhouse

Join me for yoga classes on Sunday, May 3 for FREE!  I will be offering a few different types of yoga classes, so come and try any of the classes and see if they’re right for you.  Space is limited, so call Karen to RESERVE YOUR SPACE TODAY!

10:00 – 11:00  Restorative Yoga.  Re-balance your nervous system as you sink in to total relaxation in these postures, needing no effort on your part to support yourself.

11:15 – 12:15  Hatha Yoga. All levels.  No prior yoga experience necessary.

12:30 – 1:30  Yin Yoga.  By relaxing targeted muscles in this class, you gain flexibility, as you stay in postures for three to five minutes.  Very meditative.

1:45 – 2:45  Gentle Yoga.  No yoga experience necessary.  Chairs are used and modifications are available for anyone needing them.

Join us for a free Loving Kindness Meditation on Sunday, August 3 at 1:00 p.m.

Love donations are welcome and will be given to the Roselawn Food Pantry.

New yoga classes are starting at The Dragonfly Sanctuary at our new location in the Roselawn/Lake Village area.  The class schedule is now posted.

Sign up for 4 weeks for only $32.  You can join the session at any time.  Or drop in for $10.  Please call first to make sure there is space available before dropping in.

Wear comfortable clothes, eat light before class, and please, no fragrances or perfumes.  If you don’t have your own mat, we have a few mats available – call to reserve your space and mat.  Directions will be sent when you call to register.

“Loving What Is” workshop

Come and learn The Work. A simple, yet powerful process of inquiry that teaches you to identify and question the thoughts that cause you to suffer.

Byron Katie, the author of “Loving What Is” developed the wonderful and simplistic method of asking yourself 4 simple questions when you believe a stressful thought, and then incorporates a turnaround to help you understand and then shift your own perception.

The Work becomes an easy way to live with less anxiety, fear, and misunderstanding, and gives you very simple tools you can use any time to reduce your anger, resentments, and become less reactive, less often, and with less intensity.

Experience mental clarity, live and work more intelligently and effectively with integrity. You can become a “lover of what is” and find the peace that comes from an honest and truthful inquiry into your own perceptions.

The Dragonfly Sanctuary welcomes Karen McMahon to facilitate The Work with us. She has been a student and lover of The Work for years and has attended The School for The Work with Katie to be able to share her love of inquiry with you.
